Item Type: Conference contribution
Description: The one-hour interactive workshop illustrates how NBS master’s students are helped to transition into their postgraduate degree through a core module and other initiatives. These not only help them to settle in and achieve their potential in the other modules, we believe they also assist them to achieve their full potential once they complete their degrees.
The presentation covers initiatives such as the role of the academic mentors, the personal gap analysis matrix, personal development planning and continuing professional development activities undertaken by the postgraduate students.

We also cover how at NBS we embed an understanding of ethics and sustainability and that students have the opportunity to be matched to an industry mentor.

Participants are invited to share their practice at their institution.
