Description:	An exhibition of George Miles' photographic odyssey Views of Matlock Bath. Views of Matlock Bath channels visual traditions and tropes from both photography and painting. Championed for its picturesque qualities by the taste-makers of their times, including Byron and Ruskin, the valley bore witness to the consolidation of the English Landscape tradition, the birth of the Industrial Revolution, and of mass tourism. This exhibition recontextualises the existing work within the space of post industrialism.
