Abstract
ن المدن الحديثة، بشوارعها المعبّدة وأبراجها الزجاجية، غير مؤهلة لمواجهة الارتفاع المتوقع لدرجات الحرارة. وبما أن البِنايات التقليدية في الشرق الأوسط أو في بلدان الخليج أو في أفريقيا ملائمة لتوفير الظل وتسهيل التهوئة، من الممكن أن تشكل مصدر إلهام لتصميم سكن مستدام ومراعي للبيئة.
