Abstract

This report examines the role of regional bodies in supporting Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES). The study is intended to deliver well argued and evidenced recommendations for the future role and influencing mechanisms of regional bodies and local authorities in supporting PES models, with particular reference to the potential for public/private sector partnerships in this area.
