Abstract

This report reflects on how South Gloucestershire Council (SGC) assessed the council on the financial resilience dimensions and matches its scores against the national average data. This national average was drawn from only UK LAs that responded to our survey. Since the results reflect the self-assessment of SGC, the researchers bear no responsibility concerning the veracity of their self-assessment. On this note, the report aimed to foster self-reflection and awareness on the resilience dimension, and NOT an evaluation of good or bad practices for SGC.
