Abstract

The online article, part of the Opinio Juris 'ICC and Palestine Symposium', analyses the main features of the Israeli military law enforcement system in the occupied Palestinian territory, and its collision with international legal standards, in light of the developments of the case under scrutiny of the International Criminal Court. The article concludes with the suggestion that, in light of the features analysed, relevant international crimes under the Rome Statute might have been committed in the operation of this authoritarian law enforcement system of occupation.
