Abstract

A blog critiquing the age assessment provisions proposed by the government in the New Plan for Immigration published in March 2021. This blog considered the risk of breaches to children's rights if the plan is incorporated into legislation and implemented as part of the government's approach to immigration and asylum. It suggests instead that the current system could be reformed to ensure children's best interests.
