Abstract

This data set contains synthetic data created from two original data sources i) SwedeAMP registry database, a Swedish amputation registry and ii) an NHS prosthetic service clinic in the United Kingdom. The README document and associated R code describe how the data were synthesised from the original data. Original datasets from a national amputation registry (SwedeAmp) and a large National Health Service (NHS) prosthetic rehabilitation centre were obtained with permissions. The open-source R package ‘synthpop’ was employed to create synthetic versions of the original data sets, using the default classification and regression tree procedure.
