Description: | Stop/Look/Art - a collaboration between Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture 2019 and the Government Art Collection. Max Kandhola's work has been chosen to provide ‘culture on every corner’ and improve the well-being of residents and visitors to Waltham Forest by providing access to otherwise unseen works of British art during the first ever Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture 2019. By collaborating with the Government Art Collection, together we have identified accessible and democratic spaces across Waltham Forest to exhibit specific works of art by world-renowned British Artists. Sites include Libraries, Heritage Venues, Primary and Secondary schools, Whipps Cross Hospital, Lea Valley Horse Riding Centre, Window Gallery and a newly built 'Feel Good’ sports centre. |
