Abstract
As cidades modernas, com suas vias pavimentadas e torres de vidro, dificilmente estão adaptadas para lidar com o esperado aumento das temperaturas. Projetados para fornecer sombra e circulação do ar, os prédios tradicionais do Oriente Médio e dos países do Golfo e da África podem inspirar habitats mais sustentáveis e ecológicos em outras partes do mundo.
