Abstract

Themed report from the 2003 East Midlands regional household survey, 'The Life and Work Survey', undertaken to inform a range of partner organisations, including emda and the Learning and Skills Council. Themed report summarises findings relevant to the rural areas of the region defined by the then-Countryside Agency (a Defra quango). Each respondent's address was coded as rural or urban, allowing comparative analysis for rural against 'non-rural' households.
