Abstract

The Public Services Committee wishes its inquiry and subsequent report to focus on access to healthcare emergency services. This was an introductory session to which the committee had invited three academic with acknowledge relevant experience and research in emergency services to address what they see as the key issues, to question how these are currently being addressed and provide suggestions and recommendations for improvement. The committee also requested views on priority and focus of the Access to Emergency Services inquiry itself.
