Abstract

The Under the Bridge Project, a partnership between Nottingham Community Artists Network and Bluetonic (open water swimming charity) was evaluated by Frances Howard. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, this project targeted males aged 18-65 years old, living in the Erewash area and organised 10 weeks of water-based, creative and mindful activities to support men's mental health. Culminating in a singing performance under one of the bridges on the River Trent, this project produced a documentary, audio performance and attracted the attention of the local press: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-derbyshire-62649594.
