Abstract

Conference presentation about the 'Art and Accessibility' knowledge exchange practice-based project being run collaboratively between staff from Nottingham School of Art & Design (NSAD) and external partners My Sight Nottinghamshire (regional charity for people with sight loss) and Nottingham Contemporary. This presentation outlines the project aims, collaborative processes, knowledge exchange practice undertaken to date, and future possibilities and aims. The project is inspired by principles of radical inclusion and focuses upon co-created workshop formats and audio descriptive outcomes that innovate, explore, expand upon and experiment with audio description in relation to contemporary art.
