Abstract

This research investigates gambling related harm by exploring the relationship between betting shops and seven different cities in England - Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield. The study examined seven different crime types - anti-social behaviour, public order, theft from other persons, bicycle theft, shoplifting, burglary, drug related offences.
