Abstract

Data were generated through a British Academy Funded Project (SRG20/200251) exploring the psychological impact of documenting historical trauma as justice process in contexts where justice is at a forefront of current political debate: the aftermaths of 1998-1999 Kosovo war, the Albanian dictatorship (1945-1991), Rwandan Genocide (1994) and Romanian dictatorship. Semi structured interviews were conducted with first and second generation survivors, 2021-2022. There are de-identified transcripts in the original language from interviews lasting between ten minutes and 5 hours: 31 from Albania; 30 from Kosovo.
