Abstract
This chapter links recent debates on decoloniality and decarbonisation to the field of economics and invites heterodox economists to undertake more ambitious decarbonisation research based in climate justice. Decarbonisation strategies must be analysed and reframed using a decolonial climate justice lens to avoid reinforcing historical patterns of power and exploitation.
