Abstract

Choosing legal education as a main research interest is both a very stimulating and rewarding journey but also proves to be a daunting endeavor at times. The researchers who specialize in the field face obstacles and questions that may be distinct from their peers in the legal academia. At the Law & Society Annual Meeting in Denver in June 2024, four legal education researchers, at diverse career stages, located in three different countries and each with their own research approach, shared their stories, recounted challenges they have faced, and offered solutions to overcome them. This paper brings their contributions in published form, with additional resources. This collage of testimonies and the wealth of insights that it offers will inspire colleagues interested in legal education research and strengthen the growing community of researchers dedicated to this field.
