Abstract
The Fintech AI/ML Portal is a web-based educational application developed to support applied learning in artificial intelligence and machine learning within financial services. Built using Python and deployed through Streamlit, the application provides an interactive environment where users can explore financial datasets, run analytical models, and visualise outputs in real time without requiring advanced programming skills.
The portal is designed to bridge the gap between conceptual understanding and practical implementation by enabling hands-on engagement with key techniques used in contemporary FinTech, including data analysis, predictive modelling, and model evaluation. It supports both guided learning activities and independent exploration, making it suitable for use in postgraduate teaching, executive education, and professional training contexts.
The application emphasises transparency, usability, and pedagogical value rather than production-level deployment. It enables users to critically engage with model outputs, understand underlying assumptions, and reflect on the implications of AI-driven decision-making in financial contexts. As such, it contributes to developing both technical competence and responsible AI awareness in finance-related disciplines.
